I've been having random system reboots with my PC. It can happen at any time, however, using Skyrim or Fallout (unmodded) seems to trigger an entire system freeze within 5 minutes. or a reboot without a BSOD. It has also happened while trying to create a disk image. or run disk optimization. I've also had it happen frequently running youtube from chrome. I get weird horrifying sounds from my speakers when it happens while playing a game or watching a video.
I've run memtest, changed out the PSU, changed out the HDD, reinstalled windows 10 completely. Updated my bios. I'm trying to find any way I can to resolve this issue. That's fine.. the problem I am running into now is the step I am on now.
In trying to resolve my problem, I used the microsoft troubleshooter (wushowhide.diagcab) in order to find what devices are screaming for update. I've resolved all of them except for one.

I've 'Fixed' this issue by hiding the update for now. I don't know how to update this item. Running the crimson relive software only seems to check my graphic and hdmi drivers.
Trying to update in device manager tells me this device has the best driver. Clicking driver details says 'No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device' However it says the driver version is 10.0.14393.0 from microsoft.
A google search found an AMD SMBUS driver download on driverscape . But I want to try to avoid 3rd party providers if possible. I tried running windows update, it says that I am updated. Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3206632) was the last update provided.
I'm just baffled. any help provided would be appreciated.
